This vintage embraces the dense and deep crimson-purple compliment ripe aromas of red currant, anise, black cherry, dried cranberry and tar minerality infused with subtle floral aromas of lavender, peony and crushed violets.
This Petite Sirah has a beautiful saturated crimson color. Its' deep
blackberry and cherry character is mixed with pepper and spice notes.
There is also a bit of licorice.
The first impression is of a bouquet of violets, then you enjoy a deep dark wine that expresses plum, berry, cedar and cherry flavors with exceptional roundness. The floral notes are outstanding.
